Preface

You know you're doing something right when you can honestly say, as I can, that wine is your best friend.
I don't just love the smell of wine, I love the color. And the way it swishes in a wine glass. And the taste is all right, I suppose.
I've chosen my favorite 10 wines and named them, collectively, "Tin's Liquor Drop."
Each wine in my collection is, uh, a slightly different color. And they all smell different. Sort of.
And, um, they come in different bottles. (Some come in boxes.) And were bottled at different vineyards.
Look, if you're starting to suspect that I don't know the first thing about wine, I dare you to come to Tir Chonaill and say so to my face.
With that out of the way, I am honored to teach you the nuances of my 10 favorite vintages...in the next volume.
If you're starting to think I wrote this book just to make a quick buck, you're dead wrong.
It's just that a single book cannot possibly hold all of my literary and, um, wine-erary genius.
Actually, in the next volume, I'll only discuss the first of the wines in my Liquor Drop collection. That means...I'll be writing 10 volumes total.
