- The Mystery of the Shadow -

written by Loquelin

Hello, my fellow Ulaid residents. Perhaps you had some money to spend, maybe you have a rich friend, or maybe you wanted to go on a shopping spree. Whatever the case, thank you for buying my book. I would highly recommend you purchase the next series as well.

My name is Loquelin, a man of the sea and also a troubadour! You should remember my name...you never know what could happen in the dangerous world of Erinn. It just might come in handy. (Hey you. Yea, you are falling asleep already. I know what you're thinking. "dangerous?" You just wait and see, my friend)

Well, anyway. How have you been so far on your journey? I know you probably had no clue what Nora was talking about when she sent you over here. You were probably so lost. Some of you probably haven't had a nice meal yet, slaving away, constantly searching for part-time jobs. The inflation in Ulaid is probably not helping either. Well, that's all because of chief D...There's a conspiracy that he is secretly controlling the supply and demand of labor force and prices...I'll discuss more about this in my next book (The life series of Loquelin Slow- Two sides of the coin -'Nao & Duncan' to be published)

Anyway, money isn't everything in life. There are plenty of other ways to enjoy life. You just gotta find the right one! It's all about enjoying life! Take it eaaasy. (or not) On that note, I'll tell you an amazing discovery I made today. I've been all around Ulaid, so listen carefully to what I'm about to tell you.

......Your shadow is actually a monster.

You don't believe me? Of course you don't! You learned in school that shadows are created by the combination of sun light and moon light, so of course you think I'm lying. But I'm telling you that's not true. I don't know the exact details either but one day I was thinking in bed and it all made sense. Shadows are monsters who hate light that live off of other creatures. That's why in indoors, where the light is less brighter, they go all over the place, and when you go outside, they stick right under your feet again. You've seen that right? You go get a part-time job and the shadow is playing on the ceiling. Seeing that they stick on places like under the bridge and cliffs, it doesn't seem to hate light that much...it seemed like it likes the water or rocky areas. But I still haven't figured out why the monster doesn't have a distinct form or why you can't capture it...

...Hmmm the more I talk about it, it doesn't make any sense.

Whatever, forget it. It made sense when I thought about it earlier at night...
